The participants will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the MD Papéis factory, a manufacturer of paperboard for packaging, which has been operating in this market since 1945, in Caieiras (SP). This is a way to relate the theoretical content of the course to the practical experience of the industrial plant.
Design, paper and paperboard manufacturing and inclusion of PCR, consumer trends and packaging, colors, prepress, lamination/extrusion/metallization, inks and varnishes, testing for paper, paperboard and their packaging, packaging design, paper packaging, properties and applications of paperboard, offset, flexo, rotogravure, and digital printing processes, graphic finishes, carton packaging, die-cutting process, folding and gluing process, color management, labeling and environmental symbology, innovation concepts, certifications, circular economy, and sustainability.
The development of packaging projects in groups allows participants to apply theoretical knowledge, reinforcing learned concepts, and develop practical skills essential for operating in the paper and paperboard packaging market.
Participants who have achieved a minimum attendance of 80% of the total course hours on the course platform, including live sessions, and have presented their packaging project, will be entitled to receive a completion certificate.

Os principais objetivos do curso são:
· Pensar fora da caixa e identificar oportunidades para inovar, destacar seu na gôndola e explorar a embalagem como ferramenta de venda;
· Aprender a desenvolver um design de embalagem com apelo visual que atenda às demandas de praticidade, conveniência e segurança do produto embalado.
· Entender como desenvolver uma especificação técnica de embalagem, que garanta a proteção do produto, além de atender aos requisitos de processabilidade, custos e transporte.
· Considerar no projeto da embalagem as características do produto, seu tempo de vida útil nas prateleiras, os processos de empacotamento e envase; cadeias de transporte e distribuição; sem esquecer os aspectos de produtividade e sustentabilidade.
· Aprender a utilizar metodologia que contemple todas as etapas do projeto de embalagens, evitando pular etapas e garantir um resultado mais assertivo, e sem retrabalho, o conhecido “fazer certo da primeira vez”.
· Entregar aos consumidores produtos com qualidade, além da valiosa experiência de unboxing.
Elaborar um bom projeto de embalagem é fundamental para ter uma visão ampla em relação ao que precisa ser feito, antecipar e corrigir falhas, e definir o caminho mais eficiente para o sucesso, desde a sua concepção até o consumo e disposição final da embalagem.
Terá direito ao certificado de conclusão o participante que tiver obtido frequência mínima de 80% do total de horas-aula do curso na plataforma Moodle + lives e apresentar o projeto de embalagens.
